Inventors are an essential part of a society’s economy. They need support. All of our Officers and Trustees are unpaid volunteers, paying dues just like other members. As with any modern organization, we have operational costs such as our new website and its continued maintenance; internet and other communication fees; office supplies and equipment; rents/leases, etc., which exceed our income from member dues; sponsor fees; advertising sales, and so on. As this occurs, we must reduce our modest treasury to survive. Donations, plus other income, are crucial to meet our operational costs.
